What is trauma?

Trauma is a psychological injury that can have many causes. For example seeing or experiencing violence, falling victim to crime or abuse, life-threatening illness, an accident or the death of a loved one. The pain may feel like more than you can handle, you may be extremely fearful or powerless. These feelings form the core of trauma.

Trauma therapy helps you to process what happened, to leave it behind, so that you can get renewed energy, can move forward and really begin to live again.
